Fundraising software for Scout units

Pickup fundraisers, from flier night to the last tree.

CurbCause helps Scout units run pickup-based donation fundraisers like Christmas tree recycling. Plan zones, dispatch crews live, and let residents sign up and donate online. Every donation goes straight to the unit.

How it works

  1. Draw your zones

Build pickup zones from real house parcels on a live map. Every address lands in exactly one zone, with notes and flags crews see before they start.

  2. Residents sign up and give

Residents scan the flier or follow a link, enter their address, pick a pickup day and donate online, or leave an envelope at the curb as they always have.

  3. Crews pick up, dispatch sees it live

Crew leads get their zone, stops and turn-by-turn directions in the app. Dispatch watches every truck and zone on one board, and residents get an email when their tree is picked up.

Everything pickup day needs

Live dispatch board

Every zone colored by status, every crew on the map, callbacks in one queue, and a read-only TV view for the room.

Crew app for iOS and Android

Log houses as you go, mark issues with a tap, and let flier runs track themselves as you drive the zone.

Service hours that add up

Scouts, parents and guests clock in and out, each shift counts toward a scout, and dispatch can fix missed times.

Envelope and online accounting

Count envelopes per run, record cash and checks per zone, and reconcile online and pledged donations in one treasurer view.

Customer emails that help

Confirmations, day-before reminders and picked-up notes, plus clear messages when a pickup is missed.

Run it your way

Turn online sign-up, payments and emails on when your unit is ready. With everything off, it still runs your fliers and envelopes.

Donations go to your unit, not to us

Each unit connects its own Stripe and PayPal accounts. Residents pay the unit directly by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, and CurbCause takes no cut of donations. Units can also offer Zelle or an envelope at the curb.

Units pay for CurbCause once per fundraiser season. Each unit's page lives at its own address, such as curbcause.com/troop123, ready for fliers and social posts.

Launching January 2027

CurbCause is being built with a Scout troop in the Portland, Oregon area for its 2027 Christmas tree recycling fundraiser, with more units to follow. Want to run your unit's fundraiser on it?
